The varsity girls tennis team placed third in the Bulldog Invite tournament hosted by Cedarburg this past weekend. Eight teams were present at this tournament, and the girls battled through matches all throughout the day and into the evening. Second place finishes came from Emma Sievers, Kylie Coffin, and McKenna Gartzke at one, three, and four singles respectively. Joanna Fox and Kaitlyn Loff secured a second place for Slinger at four doubles. Third place finishes came from the doubles duos of Kate Wallschlaeger and Josie Bjorklund at one doubles and Olivia Boden and Julia Fox and two doubles. All team members contributed well-fought points to help earn the third place win.
